News Article: False Prophet Harold Camping Suffers Stroke; speech now slightly slurred
Part of me pities this man, but another part does not, as he knows what Jesus said about His return: NO MAN KNOWS THE DAY OR HOUR (Matt. 24:36). Perhaps God, in His mercy, afflicted Mr. Camping with this stroke which has affected his speech to teach him a lesson. After all, this isn't his first time that he's "predicted" Jesus's return. And the saddest thing is he continues to propagate this lie/deception by saying His return will be Oct. 21st. This is simply pride and delusion speaking, as is clear what happens when we reject the truth: God sends strong delusion so that we believe the lie instead of the truth when we repeatedly reject the truth (II Thess 2:10-12). Let this be a lesson to all of us if we reject God's word for the sake of personal gain and self-glorification.
